Restoration question

I thing it looks fine the way it is. Just my opinion. If it isn't red rust I just clean them up with oil. Any chips in the blades I will sharpen out with a stone. At least you have the whole piece of pearl. If its not moving I wouldn't touch it. maybe some low viscosity super glue would wick in to the crack. I remember when I first started collecting old knives, the old timers wouldn't even take out the years of old pocket lint.

A little gap filling model glue (CYA) will fill the crack and allow you to polish. It would be hard to see the break if done right. If I was going to use it I'd take a toothbrush ans some Flitz to the whole thing and sharpen the blades. A little oil and it'll work for another 50 years.
