Anyone have a professional looking resume outline to follow? I'm trying to write one, but not sure what format is commonly excepted. Any links would be appreciated.

Try www.officejobs.com -there's a career center tab there that has a series of guides. Places like monster and careerbuilder are also pretty good sources. I'm also looking for work - I got "re-structured" about a month ago and one of the upsides of it was going to one of those transition counsellors as they are called. I was with my former company 15 years, so finding out what the correct format is required was pretty critical. Things have changed, but they haven't changed:) Internet makes it harder but easier:) I work in high tech as a Test Analyst, but I found out in very short order that I needed to format my resume slightly different depending on the position - I can fill a lead or management position over and above the technical, so something different is required for each:eek: I'm finding it harder getting ready than actually finding work.

Hope this helps - gord
