Resurrection 04/29/1990

By the way, Bill, congratulations! I believe that 14 years and counting is way beyond the norm. Isn't ten years the expected time before a re-do?

Oh Mike, I only wish :( Arrest and angioplasty in 90, 5 way in 98, and now I'm blocked up again..damn....but.......I will be 14 years old tomorrow. :D :D

You seem to be doing well after almost 10, yes? Looking forward to meeting you and Kimberly at Blade. Hope she is able to make it. :)

Bill; I was very fortunate. Walking around at age 48, obese at 300 pounds, with 100% blockage on one side and 70% on the other. Still don't know why I didn't drop dead, but never had a heart attack. Had 5 bypasses in 94.

I became a fanatic about eating right and exercise. Basically changed my way of life, dropped 65 pounds. Two years after surgery I had a follow-up stress test. Cardiologist said that he was "stunned", that I had the stress test of a man who had never had any heart problems at all.

Taking care of Kimberly has taken a lot of time away from my aerobics and weight training. I am still hanging in, though.

Wow, hat off to both of you.

I've got all the factors, overweight, high cholesterol, family history, but was cath'd last August, 0-10% only, and passed a nuclear stress last Friday with flying colours.

My dad died at age 53 after his second bypass in 3 years.

Glad you guys are doin well man.
