I've been putting together some kits over the past few weeks. I'm trying to locate some good button compasses, which I've asked about here before. Someone suggested contacting the manufacturers. Brunton did not know of any retail carriers of their button compasses. Does anyone here know where I could locate some Brunton 15mm or 20mm button compasses for sale without having to buy 50+ of them?

If you would like to email me, you can reach me at pauldavidson@eudoramail.com

Thanks,
Paul Davidson

How many are you looking for? I have one or two I can send you. I don't know who the manufacturer is but you are welcome to them. Take care.

I dont know of a supplier for the brunton button compass but I have and use the suunto clipper compass. It is small and clips on a watchband. It is much better quality than some of the cheap watch compasses, I have had mine for several years. You can get them from either brigade quartermaster or U.S. Cavalry. Try one I think you will like it. They are not as small as the button but still very compact at less than an inch square.

Cutlery Shoppe carries the little brass pin/clip on compasses made by Marbles. They look pretty good.

Marbles also makes button compasses, Paul, but their site does not list a selling price. Their contact info is at the bottom of that page. You might want to check with them regarding a retail source.

Thanks for the replies guys. Especially logansan (Jamie), that was very generous. I think I've found what I'm looking for. Maybe.
