it also was my first knife i polished.
its been sharped so much that its time to retire to desk duty. take it easy my friend no more cutting carpet and cardboard or trimming trees.

Good solid value knife there facebacon. Looks like she did a lot of work for you. Feed her lots of paper.

Just outta curiosity.... how did you sharpen that knife? You did a very good job of maintaining the profile of the blade... be good info to know how you did it. Thanks.

What's the Kershaw next to the G10 Leek? Apparently with the demise of the Kershaw sub-forum, I haven't been getting enough Kershaw eye-candy, so I don't know what model that is...but I like it a lot!

Congrats on a well-used and well-loved knife.

I love the tenacious. What is your reason to put this one into retirement? I see the liner lock is near the right side of its trajectory, are you afraid the lock is at the end of it's lifetime?

this is the knife i practiced sharpening on so i used smiths diamond hone (junk) lansky ceramic key chain thing it was ok... and what i found to work the best is DMT dia sharp stones with a custom made holder

its a kershaw blitz/nerve they changed the name for some reason i like it a lot the grind came even (i dont think any of my other knives did) and sharp just needed a slight pass on a extra fine DMT stone to get a slight bur out and it was good to go

EDIT: one con about the blitz/nerve is the clip sucks for tip up carry so i just took it off and let it sit in my pocket

@ Habbekuk its a ffg so when it starts to losses steel it gets harder to maintain a good angle as its get thicker the more edge it losses makeing it so you have to ues a convex edge. at least thats the way i see it anyway
