I had a couple new knives arrive this past week. So I thought I'd give you my impression of them. First is the Tops/Buck CSAR-T. Heavy, beefy, great grippy G-10 scales. The blade is the best part, very sharp and stout. Right now it is on it's way back to Buck for an adjustment on the lock bar. Spring tension is so great that it is a two handed thumb buster to get it closed. I'm sure Buck will fix it right. Looking forward to getting it back. Spyderco Military is the other knife pictured with it.

Second knife is the Ontario/Hossum Retribution 1. About the same weight as the Tops/Buck knife, but a good deal bigger. Thick Titanium liners, excellent fit and finish. Also hair popping sharp. Grip is smooth, somewhat grippy, but not like the T/B knife, or even the Military. Handle is rounded and comfortable, would be the best of the three for chopping without a glove on.

Congrats on the new knives! Great pictures also.

Have you had a chance to carry the Retribution 1 yet? It is definately a KNIFE, one worthy of Crocidile Dundee.

I took the one I received and converted it to pocket carry by sanding down the grips and addng a pocket clip. I absolutely love it!

Hi cutter 17,

Thanks :) The Retribution has replaced the CS Rajah 2 as my motorcycle knife. When tooling around out in the boonies (or in town, lol) I like to have a bigger, heavy duty blade with me. It carries better in my armored leathers than the Rajah does. I keep the Military on the left side when riding, as well as carrying it around the house. Military is very light and compact for a 4" blade.
