Retrieve former account help?

HI, Mods & Admins. Thanks for all you do.

Is it possible for one of you to change the email address of my old account/username? I was "Square_peg", an active contributor to the Axe, Tomahawk & Hatchet Forum. I was recently locked out of the free email account I had used to create that account and receive login codes. I now have no way to login in my previous account.

If one of you could reset my email address to my new email address (used for this account) I could retrieve my old account and this account could be locked or deleted. I understand if this can't be done. It's just a shame to lose an account with almost 14,000 posts.

I don't even think Spark Spark can do that. I know the staff cannot. I think you are stuck with using the new account.

Thank you. It would depend on what the forum software allows. I used to be an admin for a large astronomy forum and in that system an admin was allowed to log in as any user and could modify their settings and such. It was almost never done but it was possible. And I would understand if Spark or any other Admin didn't want to be bother by requests like that all the time.
 
If you had a paid subscription for that account and control the email used for the paid subscription purchase, it can be changed; past that we have no way to verify you actually own the account

I'm sorry to say that it hasn't been a paid account for a few years but I used to be a gold member when I was more active. I mostly post in the Axe, Tomahawk & Hatchet Forum. Several prominent members of that forum can verify that it's actually me and my account. If it would help I would happily purchase a Platinum membership for a year if I could retrieve the account. It was created with a Yahoo email address that I can no longer access.
 
Sorry man, if you don't have access to the email account that was used for the membership or for paypal, we can't verify you actually controlled it.

I do still have access to the Paypal account that I used for my Gold membership.
 
Does the paypal account still have the same email address attached?
