Hi Gents

I made this knife back in June and never posted any pic's on here, I'm not sure why.
An order came in for a Model 1 style fighter, the gent in question wanted the blade to be 7" long, just under a 1/4" thick made from L3 (52100) steel. The blade has an 800 grit hand rubbed finish and the clip is sharpened. I suggested to the customer that as it is his custom version that we should gun blue the double branch guard and the pommel just to break with the standard brass or polished fittings, I'm glad to say he was very enthusiastic about this. The handle is stacked leather washers dyed mahogany brown with red, white and blue fibre washers. The leather double welted sheath is dyed mahogany brown and has been designed with a rough back. The stone pocket was omitted at the customers request. I hope you like it, all comments and questions very welcome.

Thank you for your remarks gents, I was at a Game and Country Fair at the weekend and was speaking to the customer who ordered this from me. He had the knife and sheath with him and was saying just how much he enjoys carrying it, you can't put a price on that in my opinion.

So pretty, I have always loved this pattern. It looks so stabby

I've said it before and I'll say it again, thank you for your comments guys. It's strange how I'm never really able to gauge how a knife I make will be received. I was a little dubious about posting this one here given how iconic the model 1 is, but I'm very honoured that it's been appreciated in this way.

Well Steve, I suppose you will be giving up your Day Job soon if you continue producing work like that!

And I think you are just getting warmed up! Very nice work my friend!
