I finally completed a total redo of my website and have put a new and expanded "Shop Tour" section back in there. The photos load pretty fast too.

Kevin, very impressive web site! Great pictures of your shop too. I wish my shop had that many windows in it! Take care! Michael

Kevin, So much light and space!! That's an impressive grinder also. Who makes it? I've alway's thought there was a whole world of power tools and supplies on the European continent that we'd love to get our hands on over here in the States. Perhaps you could provide us with some links to some of your favorites! Great knives also, clean lines, very classy! Looks like hunters are popular on the continent.-Guy T.

P.S.-It did not occur to me to see if you had a links page to some of your suppliers, I am going to go see know!

Hello Silent,

the grinder is made in Sweden and has the trademark Grit. It's basically a Wilton Square Wheel.

Unfortunately I have only a small area of the shop there. One bench under the window. The main shop space belongs the Mobile Metallico - 2 brothers who make custom furniture and interiors from steel. The are very cool guys and the arrangement works out very nicely.

Great Site, Kevin

I am impressed. Very infomative. Also your grinder is very similar to a Wilton Square Wheel. It also appears you have it set up for variable speed, something I plan to get soon on my Sqaure Wheel. I am wondering what size contact wheel you have on that bad boy, is it a 14" ?

Hi Norseman,

that's a 10 inch wheel. I have 2 of them: one with serations and one with hard rubber.

A 14" wheel would be great for really high grinds. I usually find myself working at the limit of the wheel radius and I'd rather have some to spare... you know how getting that grind line straight can sometimes be a bit of a bother.
