You'll recall in our last episode the 3 amigos returned from BKI nicely polished and shined up but having the original blades replaced with new ones. Nearly did something in my pants. But with BKI, its always a happy ending. The amigos got on a plane, travelled back to beautiful Post Falls and were refitted with their original blades that were were now sharp and shiny. They arrived today with a bit of pomp and pageantry. Moral of this story - buy old Bucks often, buy for a good price and remember what my cowboy buddy says - "It's hard to have too many knives." Sorry, Can't get the first pic to rotate.

The FG is a -110- and I wonder what that means? Then we have a 2 dot and a 3 line no dot/symbol.

Those look nice:thumbup:
Looks like the blades had plenty of meat on 'em... Wonder why they changed them out?

It was to mark a design change to the spring holder and it came early on in 92, like the first quarter. This was written about in the June 2006 issue. Nice knives Utah. I'm glad this turned out well, toward your intent. DM

Me too David. What a company and what a product! Only a few more non Buck knives to sell (Spy, Ontario, I'll probably keep my 2 moras because they're so cheap. Today I won a couple on the big auction site including a nice 2 line 119 with original sheath. How does one stop buying? Is there a cure? I've gone from 0 to about 15 in 5 months.......and i still don't have a 639.....or 531........or 500......or.............................

Sit - they said it was just a mixup. They immediately went out into the shop and found my blades and held them until the Amigos arrived. All is well.:p

Utah, Great. A 531 and 500 you can find. Good luck on a 639. Yet, we know a blind squirrel finds an acorn every now and then. DM

The double dash 110 FG is supposedly a bit rare. Came with a brown buck sheath in primo condition. I believe I paid around $38 for it. Does the fact that its a FG make it more valuable than a regular 110?
