return of the AK?

When is the AK scheduled to make its way back into production? Im ready to have myself a busse sword. Any info appreciated.

if it comes back into production, it won't be for at least another year, probably longer. but I doubt it will come back in the same iteration.

hopefully longer next time


your only option is the secondary market or the custom shop.

The Rodent Waki looks awesome! You should check one or two out. The blade is SR101 but appears to be no slouch, watch the video. At the current market prices, AKs are a bit stiff IMO. The last Ganza had a really good deal on one in full convex ground satin. There have been previous posts saying that the AK is the biggest blade the current CNC machines can handle--I have no idea if that is true though.

Watching the exchange is your best bet.

Also, AK's sometimes are available at shows and 'ganzas.

Keep looking, they are great knives (swords?).

I have 2 AKs and love them but the pommel and choil area of the Rodent Waki does look better. Plus you can easily score 2 for the price of one AK on the exchange.
