The L.R.K. (Last Resort Knife) is back! These measure 5" overall, 1" tall, 1/8" thick, with a 2" saber ground edge, and heat treat finish left on. Cost of these will be $40 shipped, or $45 with a kydex sleeve. (the kydex will scuff the finish). These will have a 3-4 week delivery time.

I really love the shape of these, looks like a micro bushcrafter

John, what would be the chance of getting one with a sheath that would also hold a firesteel?

I will also be offering these with 3/16" thick micarta handles for $65 with sheath. Should make a nice little necker.

I`ve been carrying mine in a leather belt sheath ever since I made it instead of a pocket knife. I like how handy it is to get into use!

Hey guys, silly question, is sharpening a sabre grind like sharpening a scandi?

The saber has a secondary bevel at the edge so you would sharpen it more like a flat grind than a Scandi. The orange Trapline I just picked up has the saber grind and I decided to convex it with sandpaper and a mouse pad.

thanks for the quick answer. Just out of curiosity, why did you change it from sabre to convex?

I don`t know outdoorsfan`s answer, but I know some feel a convex is easier to maintain in the field. Personally, I just carry a small diamond hone.

I think some find it a "stronger" grind, less metal shaved away to make the "V", but I'm really still a learning in grinds/sharpening
