Return of the Vietnam Tomahawk?

Hi! Long time forum member but new to Ax and Tomahawk...

Recently I have been seeing a bunch of 'original' and replica Vietnam tomahawks go up for auction. I know that AKTI made the 'true' original and there was knock off made overseas and originally imported by Cold Steel and S&W knives. These recent ones all come with Cordura sheaths with Vrelcro closures so I assume they are recent manufacture.

Is there a new company producing Vietnam Tomahawks and where can I get some?

Actually, the original was designed by Peter LaGana and produced by his American Tomahawk Company. ATC is back in business with new owners & the Vietnam hawk is one of their products. ATC has a forum in the Makers & Manufacturers area of BF. If you browse through there you'll find a good comparison of the ATC hawk to a Cold Steel.
