returning member where to sell HI items?

I have been away from the forum for a couple of years, I was wondering where HI items are sold by members these days. I have a lot of HI items from Khukuris and karambits to swords that I have had for several years that I will be letting go of due to a seriouse illness.
I'm not sure if I should renew my membership here or just put all of it on ebay. I am a member of other forums like JD and some items may go there.

any advise?

Hello Azis, Welcome back!, sorry to hear of your health problems.
In order to sell your items here, you would first need to purchase a Gold membership which will allow you to sell on the Exchange. Then all you would need to do is post your items for sale in the For Sale: Production Knives (Individual) Area. Be sure to read the Exchange Forum Rules, as they are very important. The upside to selling them here is that there are no fees for selling and you are liable to get more H.I. aficionados looking at your sales.

Thanks....I was a goldember about 3 years ago and had been for a cpouple of years so I knew about that. Back then there was a new thing about selling HI in it's own section but it looks like all that has gone away.

This would be the better place to sell as the people here understand HI

I saw your post and got all excited that maybe another one of the old timers was slipping back then I saw the "Serious Illness" and thought, "Oh Crap, not Another One!"

Try checking out the BFC Forum Karda told you about. I've been to busy to come around much lately but there are a lot of people round about here that know of HI and HI's Quality.:thumbup:

I will be on and off with some time in between maybe over the weekend I will have a little more time to give some detail about what I will do with my collection. I will most likley get the gold membership again as I also will be letting go of a lot of Buck 110s and kersahws and Rats.

I have cancer and just had 60% of my liver removed so still in a slow recovery from the surgery.

Many of my HI were blems I got from Bill to give older members some idea of the types I have a lot of kardas, small Khuks some matched pairs several karmabits from 12" to 22" adverage sizes a few AKs and BDC sets ect....as I like every thing that comes out of the HI craftsmen.
I have a couple of balance models that I will keep it's not worth letting them go. I have a lot of bayonets as well that will go including one that was Rusty's.

Wether you sell anything or not, Azis, I hope you know you are welcome here anytime.
Even if you just need to vent, talk....whatever it may be... we are here, don't be afraid to pull your old barstool up to the bar.
