On July 30th my wife, two sons and myself were expatriated to China for a 3 year work assignment. After a loooong wait, we finally received our sea shipment from the U.S. Several things in there we were really excited to get, our bed being at the top of the list. However, it also contained the one and only Busse/kin blade I brought with me to China(so far). Needless to say I'm as excited as all get out to have this blade back in my possession.

Shown here with a Buy Brown Mutant sheath, please excuse my crappy pics.

That's awesome... Congrats! I too would feel lost in a foreign land without at least one good knife :)

Congratulations on getting some Kin back in hand  I know what you're talking about; I have been in Mexico for a little over 2 months with only a Benchmade 940 and a Vic Climber -the itch for my Busse knives is rough! Only a couple more weeks to go...

Ummmmmm the way I read it guys he is still in China and his RMD has just arrived with the rest of the ship cargo ;)

Enjoy the change of surrounds mate, seeing the world normally makes me appreciate home that much more. Travel and real exposure other cultures is a valuable experience, one I am sure your boys will remember forever.

I've spent the last 3 months using my Izula that flew here with me for everything but some kitchen duty. How I miss having my ZT flipper in my pocket all the time for daily use....

You got it right Andy. Sorry if it was a little vague, but we've been here a little over 3 months, still have 33 left to go. It will be a good experience for all of us. We have lots of opportunity to travel while we're here. We want very much to visit your country at some point during the next few years too.

We do already miss many things from home. Especially getting outdoors to enjoy nature...
