revamped site up :)

Maybe I missed it, but somewhere on your home page you should introduce yourself.

I don't like the really tiny thumbnails that you click on to get to the larger images. I can't tell what I am clicking on. The large images aren't large enough.

Sorry to be so negative, but your website is the window that your prospective customers are going to see you through, and you want it to look as good as possible.

if you let it run there should be a slideshow also the pics in the center should be about this big no???

when you mouseover the lil thumbnails a not so little thumbnail above them should preview for the center picture, ive checked this in IE and firefox, but now im paranoid lol, what browser and ver are you using?
thanks :)

You are correct, the thumbnails do show up larger in a spot above the smaller ones. I missed that. The larger images should be 50% larger than they are. You want to give people a really good look at your knives.

I agree with Keith. It is always nice to know the name of the maker of the knives and not just a company name. I tend to like to bookmark sites with a name. I also noticed that many of the images seemed to be out of focus. have you taken some time to look thru the archives with info about doing knife photography or consider using a professional knife photographer such as our resident Sharps by Coop. also poke around the many threads in Custom and Gallery to see the images and their sizes done by both collectors and knife makers to present their works in the best possible form.

yep, thats my weak point, cant afford coop but he is the man! Ive done some reading up on it, just need to spend time building a setup and painting / propping some backgrounds etc. Ill update my info section asap :) also going to be adding other stuff was just eager to show off the new slideshow :D

I'd give the pages something other than "untitled document" as a title. It'll make things easier to bookmark, people can keep track of it when they have multiple tabs open, and it'll help you get higher up on the search engines.

I like the way the slideshow works, but agree that the larger thumbnails should be larger. I'm also not a huge fan of the slow transitions, I don't want to wait for images to load if I don't have to.

I think a short tutorial that shows how you do what you do would be a good addition. How do you shape the blades as you forge, and file. How do you do your handles in a traditional style. What types of fasteners etc (explain how you shot peen the end caps on etc......I think I saw some of the pommels/end caps attached anyway). I think that people interested in a traditional knife would like to know everything that goes into making it (so they can talk with their knife buddies about it).

I like the knives you have in the gallery.

I agree that larger pictures would be helpful for getting a better look at your knifes.

Your site looks great when using Microsoft Internet Explorer as my browser, but it doesnt appear to work properly with Mozilla Firefox. You may want to mention this to your WebMaster. As you may know, many of us use Firefox, Opera or other browsers besides Internet Explorer.

Good luck with your new Web Page.
