Any Resilience in a decent steel is a good thing, but I wondered why they didn't just put a s35vn blade in the G10 handle. There's no cost saving, and the weight saving is pretty modest.

The weight saving is minimal, but I think there is a lot to be said the Spyderco's bi-di tex over their Chinese G10, at least for grip (and comfort, though I hand sand my Resilience scale edges to fix that issue). That being said, I have a few well worn Resiliences with the G10 which I have no problems holding onto.
