Revelation at Blade show

I can think of no other industry, sport, or other professional arena wherein heroes are more accessible than our beautiful community or "family".

My first blade show was a revelation in more ways than one!!

My sincerest thanks to this particular forum for helping me find my way there.

I'm invious! I still have great memories of my only one Blade 03, and I sure hope to get to attend another one someday!

I am very sorry I missed you as well as others (especially J.B.)

It seems you really enjoyed the show, after all is said and done the knives are great, but the people are even better. I consider myself very fortunate to be a part of this group.
 
This place is one of the most decent internet locales one could hang out in, because of the generally good character of most of the folks here.

Hopefully, in the next couple of years, I want to get back there to NC and we (myself & my son) will take my dad to Blade. I'd love to meet all the guys from here.

slopingcompanion, your thoughts and feelings are reward enough and what makes this place and its denizens such a special place (imho).
 
I don't know if I will ever get to the Blade show. But you are right. This is a great place. First and formost because of the people. Greatest bunch of people I have ever been affiliated with. The generousity and concern for fellow man is amazing here. I love it. As someones signature says. I came because of the knives. I stayed because of the people. Could not say it better myself.
 
I can't wait for next year to come around to check out Blade. I'm saving up my pennies so I can purchase a custom slippie, I've never owned one.

It seems like a great group of people down there.
