On 07/11/12, I left a negative iTrader feedback for Joe Hargis knives. I had purchased a blade from him on the exchange, but never received it and communication stopped. I waited for what I felt was an appropriate amount of time before submitting my feedback, but I may not have waited long enough.
Joe finally got in touch with me (and others who were waiting) and come to find out, there was some health/family issues that prevented timely shipping. He promised me that he would ship my knife the next day, and he did. It arrived today and I am happy with the blade.
Regardless of the lack of communication, I no longer feel that this transaction is worthy of negative feedback, but not necessarily positive either. I still think he could have at least kept us in the loop, or have a family member contact us on his behalf. However my negative response was based soley on the fact that my knife never shipped. Well, it finally did and I am happy.
I would like to ask the administration of Bladeforums to remove my negative response. I will replace it with a neutral response because when all is said and done, I feel that would be more appropriate.
Thanks, MikeyJ
