For all you guys and girls who like reverse grip, here's a fun litttle offering from Condor Tool and Knife, the Jungle Bowie 2. It has a 6.25 inch double convex edged blade. The handle is very comfortable and quite grippy.

At our school we train in both Keating Drawpoint and Bowie. The crazy thing about this knife is that it comes with a left hand sheath! I strap it on my right side and it becomes a reverse grip fighter. A quick grip exchange and it becomes a very servicable little bowie. The belt loop on the sheath is sewn in a way that gives you high and low belt carry options and there's even a little looped tab at the point of the sheath for some kind of a thong. (Not that kind of thong!)

Every reverse grip user eventually has to deal with the question of edge in or edge out. My teacher prefers edge out, I prefer edge in, which means that I use a lot more point. For the way I move I find the stab in rip back is a very natural motion for me, but this little blade meets both purposes very nicely.

My teacher lives in a heavily wooded area and has used many of the Condor tools for cutting brush, blackberries and even maple. He says they work better than most any other similar tool he's used and seem to really keep their edges well.

It's a fun little knife to play with and for the money quite economical. It is needle pointed but because both edges are convex it is far more substantial than a flat ground knife would be. I was going to modify mine for straight Bowie style carry, but after playing with it for awhile I've decided to keep it as is for reverse grip use.
