Reverse grip draw

I like my CQC 11 but I would like to see all Emerson 's knives coming with left & right holes screws for the clip... Just like my combat karambit. The reverse grip draw works much better for me in SD situation.

Are you meaning edge towards you, or point down edge towards enemy? I carry my CQC11 in my black left pocket on the left side and draw forward, point down edge out.

Just drill and tap some holes where you like them, or send it back and I am sure they would do it for you. Got to say that I have no experience working with titanium, which is what the liners are made of. Give them a call......

I think alot of us are becomming more aware of the reverse grip draw and some of the advantages it offers. I carry two Emersons from time to time and use the weak side as a reverse grip draw which requires no modifications to a factory Emerson folder. Usually this is my P-SARK with my CQC-14 or Mini Commander carried for a regular strong side draw. However, I do know a FMA/JKD instructor that now carries a pair of Spyderco Chinook III's that have wave mods on them and both set up for reverse grip draw. It works very well for him but does take some practice to deploy and engage. But at least for me thats a big part of the fun.

I've been saying this for years.

PLEASE NOTE: SINCE WE ARE OFTEN BACKORDERED ON LEFT-HAND KNIVES, WE ALSO PROVIDE AN OPTIONAL OPTION TO HAVE THE POCKET CLIP PLACED ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF A STANDARD RIGHT HAND KNIFE SO IT CAN BE USED FOR LEFT SIDE POCKET CARRY. THIS DOES NOT CHANGE THE LOCK, IT WILL STILL BE A RIGHT HAND LOCK. THE CHARGE FOR CHANGING THE CLIP IS $25.00 PLUS SHIPPING. PLEASE CALL 310-212-7455 FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.
