How To Reverse pocket clip on new Siren

Just got the new Siren, love the steel. I always reverse the pocket clip for lefthanded carry, this one threw me off a bit. When I backed out the torx screw holding the clip, I see it goes into a pin-type fastener that goes through to the opposite side of the scales, pictured below. Tried inserting a steel punch in where the torx had been and gently tapping the pin out the other side; it wouldn't budge and I didn't want to hit it harder or risk breaking it.

How do you remove this pin like the one shown in the second pic, so that you can reverse the pocket clip?

The female side probably has a flat part and this may have gotten a little twisted in the scale. What I have done on my Spyderco knives is leave the torx screw approximately halfway threaded in. I use my driver in the screw to push it through. I'm not sure the construction of the Siren, but there might be tension from the lock spring. Try the blade in different positions or push the lock down while pushing out the screw at the same time. Let me know if this makes sense and if it worked.

I tried a few more times to really torque on it, wouldn't budge. Then I tried your tip of opening the blade, tried again, it finally popped. Not sure if it was the opening the blade, or that it had finally worked looser from previous tries, but that got it.

Thanks.

Nice it got solved.

Remember to check your lock though:

^Well there you go--that's what I get for buying one before checking Bladeforums. Love the design and steel, but yes mine has the issue and I just got it late Oct. Posted to the thread referenced.
