Here's my most recently completed flipper folder.
Maker: Cory Martin
Website: www.corymartinimaging.com
Blade: "Reverse" San Mai Damascus
Handle: Bead Blasted & Anodized Titanium with CNC Grooves
Liners: Polished & Anodized Titanium
Pocket Clip: Titanium with CNC Groove & Silicon Nitride Ceramic Ball acting as the "hook"
Filler Bar: "Reverse" San Mai with milled slots
This is only my 2nd completed flipper folder. It was my first attempt at using the CNC mill to add "texture" to the handle. Simple, yet sleek. Blade and filler bar are made of 320 layer twist Damascus with heavy Nickel in between the 52100 outer layers. The future blade designs won't have the "recurve" along the cutting edge. That's something that looked cool to me in AutoCAD, but when it came time to grinding and finishing it, things became more troublesome than it was worth.
