I'm looking to reverse the clip on a MOD Hornet for tip up carry. Does anyone have the details on thread, screw size, etc.? They're small I don't think I can get an accurate measurement. Also, any recommendations for where I should get the tap, drill, screws, etc.?

You should already have the screws, just be careful and reuse them. A screw gauge that has threaded holes to determine the diameter and thread pitch is a good way to go. The correct size will screw in by gentle finger pressure alone. I use a pair of "Screw Checker" plates, one metric and one SAE. Amazon sells them. Drills and taps can be had from McMaster.com or MSC.com. If you do not already own a tap set, you will also need a handle to hold/turn the tap(s) you buy.

Thanks. Yeah, I have the original screws, but they are so small I figure I'm going to break or loose one. They are also so small that it's going to have to be a really small thread checker. I have a regular feeler gauge style thread checker, guess I'll have to look into a small plate style. But then that's ordering a checker, taking apart to check, reassembling, then ordering again for supplies. I may just order what I think are appropriate drills, tap and screws that I can use for other knives as well and modify to fit. Just thought if anyone already knew the sizes...
