I got one of these a few weeks ago (after seeing this review) and finally got a good test run on Sunday. We had some friends over and cooked over the stove for almost four hours, switching between mulled cider and various sausages and what not. Great stove! We used a deep cast iron pan and a fairly large stainless pot from the Goodwill. Both survived if not a little scorched.



Very easy to light and keep going. We did use up a pretty hefty pile of twigs to keep in going, but well worth the $$$$ for one of these.

The pot is a tagine style pot which is a Moroccan pot. Maybe this is the pot. http://fantes.com/tagine.html Toward the bottom with cast iron base. $175 Pretty pricey French pot but maybe he has a cheaper one.

Thanks for the review. I thought about it for a few days, then went ahead and ordered the stove. It should come in pretty handy.
