Review for Daggert models

I tried searching but to no avail. Has anyone completed a full field testing of the SOG Daggert #1 and #2 models yet?

For once I found a shop selling SOG knives for close to the US retail value, yet unconverted. I live in Australia and this shop has them on offer for $155.00 Australian dollars (keep in mind that the US dollar retail is about $125.00). This is un-heard of down here as there is always the exchange rate to deal with and not to mention import / Customs excise and taxes. Although, if they are being made in Taiwan (correct me if wrong) then they dont have to travel as far to get here if they come straight from the factory.
This is not deterring me though, in fact I am more tempted than ever to buy a FEW as opposed to only one. But I like things that perform well and hence the reason for my request of review details.

They are finished well and seem to look like they had a decent amount of functionality designed into them (as much functionality as a double edged knife can offer that is).

That is all. Thank you all for reading my ramblings and putting up with my long winded post!

It's a great knife. I sometimes carry my Daggert II when hiking. I never did a full "field testing", but it does all the jobs I need a knife for. It's great how versatile a DE blade can be, especially with the serrations on one side. Due to it's blade and tang construction it's not a heavy working tool of course. I mean, I wouldn't try to fell a tree with it.
I wouldn' trust the sheath to hold the knife securely without the safety strap. One could heat it up with a heat gun and bend it a bit tighter which should solve that problem, but I never came arround to do it (yet). This way I could carry it higher on the belt with a TekLok though, and I probably would carry it more often then.

SIRGALANT, it is the Bankstown Gun Shop. Just do an Aussie bias google search and it will be there. I still don't know how they are able to sell them for that price.
