I had bought a Ivan Campos Vespa about a month ago
because I like Ivans idea on what a S.D. blade should be and his designs. Well let me tell you when I had gotten it I could not put it down. Everything from the grind,to the Cord wrap handle to the felt lined sheath. OUTSTANDING!! I collect Japanese style knives, and Ivan's are the best by far I had the pleasure of handling, owning and carrying. I have also been studying F.M.A.(Kali) for about 1 1/2 years now, and have been looking for a knife like this and again style. It is lightning fast in the hand with the sure feeling of control. I have been on a search for a blade like this for a while and now found it. I am so pleased that I ordered another from Ivan. This one is a 3 1/2 model Vespa. Great work Ivan!!

I believe that vespa is K-100.
My 3 1/2 vespa is CPMS30V.
Can't wait to get the new one!

Hello, Jacko

Thanks for the review.
While Ed's blade is K100, your first Vespa is made of 440C steel, wich I used almost exclusivelly for my first 2nd generation Pocketswords.
