OK, I am a Ken Onion fan. Granted. His name commands respect from me because I have purchased several of his Kershaw knives over the years, and I love them.

A little over a week ago, I woke up from a coma, and discovered someone had long ago put ball bearings in folding pocket knives. Who knew? I don't get out much, I guess.

The Foresight came in today, and I really like it.

It is big knife by pocket knife standards, with a 3.5" blade. In Nebraska, 3.5 is as big as you can carry. 3.6 can get you three hots and a cot.

I won't bore you with dribble, going on and on how good this knife is Just go get one. It opens like a dream. No effort. fly's open.

Well made, well designed like all Ken Onion products.

Thank you Ken

I tend to take note of any design with Ken's name on it. Have several. He rarely designs a knife I don't like something about.

I got one of the very limited first production models with the "two-tone" handles before CRKT decided that was cost prohibitive.

It IS a pretty big folder. Maybe a little too big for most folks to EDC, but fits the hand (at least my fairly big paws) very well and as you noted is amazingly smooth.

Definitely worth checking out if one wants a large folder.

I probably use my 1660 more than any other knife that I have. It was one of the very first knives that I bought the turned me on to knife collecting.

I hate the blade shape, but I'm still tempted. I guess it would be an excellent candidate for a blade grinding experiment...

Reminds me of the Blur and 0200. Onion has some great designs, that's for sure. How do the finger grooves feel?
