] This is my first post on Bladeforums. I plan on making MANY more posts. So, anyway here goes:

Handle
The handle of this particular knife is "layered G-10". I honestly don't have any idea what this means. If anyone wants to, correct me. It does however, have a very good grip in my hand.

Blade
The blade is made of 8cr14MoV steel, which I'm told is quite good. Cuts well, and haven't had to sharpen it yet.

Opening mechanism (I posted this thread in assisted opening knives, so it's not manual!)
The blade is assisted opening, so it's NOT a switchblade. This is legal in NH, where I live. The blade thwacks out with a nice thunk. I honestly like that in a knife.
The thumb stud is CRKT's fire safe mechanism. The works by pressing down on the thumb stud, and then flicking out.

Locking Mechanism
The locking mechanism is a simple liner lock. The lock is strong and I honestly have honestly have no problems with it.

OK, I think I have covered everything already, correct me if I am wrong.
