I promised a fair and honest review upon recieving this new sheath, so here it is:
Godspeeds Kydex is ridiculously well done. Easily the best kydex sheath I have ever owned. Perfect retention. Perfectly symmetrical. Perfect edges. Good, thick kydex (this is the key...the thin black stuff I used to mess with just doesn't cut it.) There's going to be no need for a heat gun to tighten this baby up. The thumb push is perfection in a can. It's like he snuck in my house while I was sleeping and took a mold of my thumb. I hope he didn't...that would be weird.
The sheath itself is perfect. I'm not sold on tekloks. Going to talk to him about an option to drop it down. If you like horizontal teklok stuff, the teklock is perfect with it. The teklok in the vertical position on a belt puts the knife a little too high and close to your side. I prefer it horizontal. If you want it to sit vertically, talk to him about it. I've seen pics of other sheaths he's done where he can lower it. I chose to go simple for this one, since I didn't know how I was going to use it just yet.
In short...he's got mad skills. I would personally guarentee anyone getting one of his sheaths is not going to be disappointed! Especially at the prices he's asking.
Pics you say?
(I put the little mark on the sheath....)
