It is still available from shomertec for less than 150 bucks.
Is it better choice than say Spy's Manix? What is thickness of a linerlock? Coudnt find any consistent reviews. It's rara avis I afraid )

have you checked over at rat chat yet? there is at least one decent review, mainly using the al mar sere as a comparison, but it is good.

Hello Lenny
Welcome to the Rat's Nest, I'm glad that you stopped by.

The Rat Trap and the Manix are very different knives. The Rat Trap is designed to be a reliable, lightweight everyday carry knife that you'll forget is in your pocket until you need it. It was not designed to be the biggest, strongest folder on the market. (Our Howling Rat is stronger than any folder on the market so if that is what you are after check out the HR ;) )

There is a very good review of the Rat Trap and the Manix on the Reviews forum, from about a year ago.

I hope you enjoy the forums and you stick around and join in our discussions

:D:D

Yet it's longer than manix is. In fact I'm looking for a weel-built folder with 4up blade, prime cutter. I've got Buck-Strider-Tarani, it is wery stout, still I need longer (maybe narrower) blade
