Good Job

I have Alias II and carry it often . Good knife almost perfect [for me]
The issues I have are Pocket clip position. from factory its tip down carry.
Not a problemits reversable . But I find easier deployment with clip in original position ...clip allows fingers to stay off of lock bar .

Once I move clip to tip up carry my index finger rests on lock bar .
Also the tip up position rides higher due to clip going under lanyard hole ..
This knife is super smooth and fast
It was sticky to close initially but the sharpie trick helped.

I'd like to see dual thumb studs [spoiled with BM AXIS]

Overall I think its a good knive and a good value [materials/quality for $$]

I also own a few CRK knives this is close in size to small sebe ...The small sebe is a better knife . But money does come into equation

Just a minor correction: the guy's name is Chris Reeve, not Reeves. Nice review, though, and as always, great pictures.

Nice review of the Alias II...one of the best Ti framelock designs going on the market today, IMO, and made by Benchmade!

I have the 635 "Mini" Skirmish, and find myself carrying the small Alias much more often...and just love the blade shape. Here's a couple pics of the LE Alias II with G-10 I've had for a few weeks, and the anodised BLUE version of the same knife I got just the other day:

On the clip placement from the factory, I haven't changed it any...I'm SO used to tip down from my Strykers and other locking liner and Ti framelock models it's natural that way...and have no problem adjusting to the "reverse" tip-up direction as used with the Axis models.

No messing...these are quality knives worth owning...IF you can find one! :D

That G10 Alias II looks pretty good - and I normally don't go for black blades. What's the retail on that?

It's still in the online Bradley Cutlery catalog...Black Blade, G10 Handle 17650BT-600. Retail price: $215...so they must be out there. Normally I don't go for black blades, with the BT finish on mine still looks good after a few weeks of carry.

Nice - I'll definitely have to keep an eye out. It sound like it's not too much more expensive than the version I purchased.
