I just uploaded this tonight. It is a test to see how easy it would be to boil water using the smaller Coghlan's fuel tablets.

I use them often . Mainly for heating a cup of water for tea . I tablet easily heats enough water for a cup of tea. 2 tabs will boil 2 cups of water it you use a wide flat pan. As neat as the stanley set is I have found it's shape makes it harder to boil in . It also channels the water back to the burner on my pocket rocket and puts the flame out

The Stanley does seem to allow some of the heat escape due to the narrow nature of the pot. I'll have to try it again with a wider pot.

I had trouble getting boiling water with the stanley kit and cat stoves too the little pot that comes with the cheap mess kits will boil water with 2 Coghlan's tabs on an esbit stove or cat stove
I use the the Coghlan's in an esbit and a space saver cup to boil water for tea when I'm out and about

I'll definitely be trying my hand at different setups. They're a really cost effective alternative to Esbit.

In the mean time, I did upload a couple more tests of the tablets to see if I can get them to light with a Ferro Rod and boil water in the stanley pot by using 2 in succession.

The Coghlan brand tabs seem to just reek of ammonia. I had to vac seal the ones I was keeping in my emergency food tote.

Yep, with any chemical fuel, unless it's 'food grade' I would definitely suggest keeping it separate from anything that will come in contact with food.
