Do any of you fine folks have any experience with the A.G. Russell Bird & Trout knife? It's a 3" blade, 6 3/4" long, 1.8 oz, and comes in a variety of nice steels depending on your budget (including VG-10). The blade thickness is listed at 0.60" It looks like it could be a fancy version of a Mora and looks like it would make a great general purpose knife. I only own one VG10 blade and I don't know if it's my experience VG10 or with the design of the Spyderco Perrin, but it's performance continues to astound me around the house.

Mate, buy one and try it. Every knife A.G. sells comes
with your money back if you don't like. Now or 10 yrs
from now. :)

I do know from the many knives I bought from A.G. that
the man knows how to make a cutting blade. These knives
are thin and cut very well. Of the offering now I'd still buy
the Aus-8 blade knife. That combo is the best al 'round
for edge holding and easy field sharpeining.

Go ahead try one:D :D
