Anyone have one of these intriguing little suckers yet? If so, what do you think of it? Worth the steep retail price? I've been looking around at them at the online shops and thinking about picking one up. I was just looking for any real world info I could find on them. Blade play, condition of lock up, balance, ease of carrying, ease of deploying from your pocket with the low profile clip, type of grind, factory edge condition, etc.

I appreciate any observations.

Nevermind. I couldn't wait for the review...I just picked one up. :D

I'll post a review in a few weeks after I carry it and use it some.

Egads, dont baton it.

I like it myself, i am looking forward to your feedback as a user.

I have been drooling over the same one in a lcoal gun shop, the price is markedly higher beiing where its sold at an i am canadian.sigh.

Anyhow, keep us informed, oh the VG-10 from what i do gather is not strong against prying, but this is knife not a prybar.(Related to cliffs testing and other feedback)

Peace

I had one, sold it to a friend who likes it very much

For your points:

Blade play - zero zero nothing what-so-ever, very very tight.
Condition of lock up - Perfect, had a very knowledgable knife-maker inspect the ramp and he said that Moki listened to what he said to them... ;) A very reliable liner-lock.
Balance - have not carried it much, the handle was just a bit too small for me for a full 4 finger grip.
Ease of carrying - very low profile as you can expect with that clip
Ease of deploying - not so easy, very little sticks out so there's less to grab.
Type of grind - perfectly done, the swedge was even on both sides
Factory edge condition - perfect, up to Spyderco out-of-the-box sharpness.

In summary, a perfect knife made knife by Moki. Handle was just too short for me.
