Hey guys . . . I am going to be buying kitchen cutlery as gifts soon. I am thinking about the Camillus line mainly because I love their other products!:D Does anyone have any of these that they could comment on?? Thanks in advance!

(I currently use mainly V'nox/Forscher and Henckels)

Jason - I have a few of Camillus' Rosewood series kitchen knives. Overall, they are very well made, good balance, and came very sharp out of the box. I think the steel is either 440A or maybe even 420HC. Either way, the steel allows you to get a wicked sharp edge every time. Granted, the steel won't hold an edge as long as the other high performance blade materials we are all used to, but for the price the performance is excellent. The rosewood handles are laminated to resist moisture though they might be a little slick when your hands are wet. Knowing you, I think you'll be happy with them :)
