I am very intrested to know the true quality and preformance capabilitys of cold steels sword cane. With my experience with them, there products are either extremely good or very poor. I was hopeing if anybody out has info or can do a review on this seeming odd weapon, it would be greatly appreciated.

I got a CS swordcane in a trade. The blade would rattle when I walked with it.When I swung it holding the shaft(impact area was the steel knob)the latch would come undone and the sword would slide out.Of course, I'm not sure if it was designed for that type of movement.Overall it was an ok toy to play with, but I traded it away for a knife. I got a CS City Stick based on playing with the swordcane, which I love and is a keeper.

The City Stick is a fantastic piece, especially if you're training in a cane system like la canne from savate. The coating scratches REALLY easily, but you can't beat it for function.

I got one right after I hurt my back. Bought it from the "bargain" shop (blem). I wouldn't recommend buying a *new* perfect one. This thing is pretty well made although the clip would be unreliable if you swung it as a club. The blade seems sturdy enough if you are a student of fencing and can effectivly place the tip where needed. I found it well balanced.

Oh and, it is a bit long for a guy who is 5'9" tall to really use as a cane ;-)

I did they did a recall on a bunch of them because the locking mechanism had a ton of problems on a bunch of them. They are supposed to be coming back with them on nov. 1, this time i hope they live up to their hype. The lock had defects and became fragil and had a weak grip.
