I have seen this folder at an internet dealer's website and am quite curious about how it cuts, carries, and in general handles. The version that I saw had a pocket clip, which is nice because the Fallkniven website originally had no mention of a clip.

These retail for about $90.

Thanks in advance for anyone who has some experience with the knife.

I have one, but I've not used it much. It comes with a Cordura Sheath. The knife is actually rather small, and it reminds me of William Henry Evolution Series. It is a Gent's folder for sure.
The lockup is solid, it's a "semi-frame-lock" - you can see through the bottom liner. It's made of top notch steel VG-10, just like all Fällkniven's knives.
They have also produced a collector's version, with 5 different handle materials to choose from. This series is numbered; unclear how many knives the run will encompass.
I have found nothing bad about the knife, except that the thumb stud should have been a bit more like say Masters of Defense. You have to feel it for yourself. I think it cuts into your thumb a bit, but I'm very picky here.

It's interesting to see that clips are being retrofitted at this early stage. I asked Peter Hjortberger at Fällkniven, and they will not produce any versions of P with a clip in the near future.
Maybe if a lot of us act as a lobby group, he may change his standpoint ... ;)

The Mod.P is the first folder from Fallkniven.Fit and finish is excellent-very similar to Wm. Henry.Very impressive with VG-10 and black micarta.Comes with a pouch-no pocket clip.Check it out www.fallkniven.com MSRP is $129.96.I paid $90.00.

Fällkniven also made 25 "special editions", of which I got number 10.
They did 5 copies of 5 different wood handles. They also used laminated VG-10 steel. It comes with a little letter stating the manufacturing date and serial number, sorry no number on the knife.
They were sold out rather quickly, and they do not plan to make another batch. I have one coming in the mail the other day.
Too bad you missed it! :D :D :D
