I used one for a few years, and really liked it. It lacks some belly, but is, imho an ideal knife for large game. Comfy handle, great sheath, nice light, tight package. It is also big enough for camp use, and saw a lot of duty slicing food, chopping and splitting wood, and just banging around. I think Bob Dozier makes the best all around use knives out there. They hold an edge, and are fairly straight forward to sharpen.
I think if there is a criticism, it's the look of the hollow grind. I do not like it's appearance, but it works well in these knives. I have never tried a flat or convex Dozier.
If you are thinking about a pure hunter, go with a Dozier with more belly, but for camping and hunting together, it's a great knife.
Hope this helps,
Jim
