I'm considering this model for my next knife purchase. Is anyone familiar with this model? Impressions? Thanks.

Well, never had that models, although I've a few stockmans and a canoe from Queen. Very nice knives, awesome fit+finish, although the springs might be tighter than what you're used to.

Clay,
I have one, it's my favorite knife. It is a little small, but it's a stocky knife, a real user I guess you could say. I have several Queen knives, but somehow always go back to that one. Try bill at Cumberlandknifeworks.com, he will do you right.

Clay, I also have the queen gunstock and it is my favorite slipjoint.

Cumberland knife works is the best source and best quality. He inspects them before he ships them.

My favorite handle is the Cocobolo and then the Black Cherry(delrin). I find queen's bone-stag looks fake.

The only problem they have is the occasional weak spring. If you order from Cumberland knife works, make sure he checks that the springs are equally strong. I did once get, from them, a weak spring gunstock which I sent back. One spring was strong and the main blade's was weak. That sucked because I had to pay return shipping to send it back so I ended up paying shipping twice! :( Make sure they inspect it for this!!!!

Good luck with it,

I have a few of these. great cutters, great edc, great knife!!!! :D

...and did I mention holds a great edge?

I would 2nd that!!! I bought all mine from Bill!!!!

I received my CBS gunstock Sat., and it hasn't left my pocket since. It is quite a bit heavier than my coccobolo small stockman, but I like the size much better.
Queen is quickly becoming one of my favorite brands. Thanks for the help.

Clay :D
