Review Request..Spyderco Native

I have a review posted up on the KnifeCenter of the Internet's site. It can be found at http://www.knifecenter.com/knifecenter/spyderc/revnative.html . Custom maker Fred Perrin also has a review of this knife up on the site as well: http://www.knifecenter.com/knifecenter/spyderc/rev2native.html .

Also, in the May (I think it is) 1999 issue of Tactical knives, there is a review of the Native.

On a personal note, I think the Native is a pretty good knife that is very affordable.

I find myself carrying mine at work since it's light enough to carry in the pocket and doesn't have to be clipped to the pocket so it suits my purpose of having a knife without the bulk that is easy to carry.

The handle ergos are fine and the action works well. The knife is large enough for utility purposes and the design makes it a nice looking folder.

The steel is G1 and I would recommend the plain edge for ease of sharpening. The SS clip works well, too if you want to clip it to your pocket, though I wish the clip were black.

It's not a bad knife at all and I would recommend it as a back up or as a primary carry when you're looking for a smaller knife.

It's unobtrusive and useful. It also won't break your bank if your bucks are tight. And it's a Spyderco.

I hope that helps....
