Hello all,

I always eyeball these when my AGRussell catalog shows up. They look so nice and clean to me, however, I never hear anyone talk about them. Any eperience you should share would be appreciated.

Thanks,

I've got a CF Lancet.
One of the nicest knives, custom or not, I've ever seen.
Fit and finish are perfect, and it locks up very solid, no blade play in either direction.
For such a small knife, it feels quite nice in the hand.
Only used it for small cutting chores yet, but I think it could tackle the occasional box dismemberment, or chicken deboning if need be.
Also, the thin grind ATS-34 is super easy to resharpen.

I also have a CF Lancet (as well as a Black & Tan Persian) and while other, fancier knives have replaced it as my "dress knife," it's still a favorite. Fit and finish are excellent. Lock-up is solid with absolutely no blade play.

The knife is amazingly light, but it doesn't feel flimsy at all. Maybe not the best choice for heavy-duty chores, but it was never meant for that kind of work -- it's a gent's knife, intended for light to moderate duty. IMHO, the CF Lancet and all the other WH CF series knives are well worth the price, which really isn't that high, all things considered.

I have one of the Black and Tan Spearpoints.
First, it is smaller then I expected.
Second, it it gorgeous!
Third, I agree with what has been said above. quality is top notch, VERY light, definately a light duty knife. The thin grind is really easy to sharpen. It is very comfortable for such a small knife. But it definatly is not a sharpened pry bar. You won't want to carry it if you think you might damage it.

I think that they are Great knives. I own several William Henrys, MOPscales and Carbon fiber. You can't go wrong with them. Get one and you'll see what everyone is talking about.

Very high quality in a light-duty knife. I recommend the black and tan version if you can still find it. The Kestrel is just too small for one-hand opening if you have larger hands. The Lancet is the best overall shape for an office-carry situation. The Spearpoint gives you a little bit of heft for slightly bigger work - but I would probably look toward a different knife in that size category.

It is a good middle step to bankrupting yourself on higher-priced customs.:p
