Hey Guys...

I had the oppertunity to spend some time with Mike Sastre at the Michigan Wolverine show.

We had a Great time chatting, talking shop and shooting the Bull$hit with each other...

Mike showed me a good many of his sheaths including his line of Spyderco and Southern Comfort rigs for the Ontario Hells Bells Bowie...
Quite Inpressive to say the least...

I showed Mike an Emmerson Commander that I had just picked up,(for a steal $100.00) and he quickly reached into his bag of tricks and handed me a shiny new carbon fiber neck rig for my Commander..

I'm thrilled to now be the owner of a River city sheath...
Extremely well made, thought out,,Mike honestly puts Great care into his work..

I'm very proud to call him a friend..I hope he feels the same way..

When it comes right down to it you can't go wrong with a River City sheath, no matter what it is....Pay'M a visit..

Eric...

Eric,
High praise indeed coming from you. I have a couple of Mike's sheaths and they are very nice, great designs and quality.
On/Scene tactical makes a great sheath as well :)

BTW I'll have those patches out to you tommorow morning, it was great seeing you again at the show,
Thanks,
Chad

I have had Mike do some work, custom and production. He does a very nice job for very reasonable money. I would recomend him.

And they both rock! Either will make you one hell of a sheath.

Professor.

Absolutely!!!

I can't say enough good things about Mike's Ground Pounder Stinger rig. I hate wearing things around my neck, but Mike's rigs are outstanding. I don't even know I have one on, until I reach for it.

Eric,

This was an unexpected surprise. Thanks for the plug!!! I greatly enjoyed talking with you, and it's always better when we get do it in person. I consider you a true friend and brother, and have the utmost respect for your work and commitment to quality. Looking forward to getting together again at the Blade Show. Take care, Bro'.

I am always impressed by this type of praise for a "competitor's" work. I'm sure there is plenty of room in the cutlery community for everyone, but I think it's pretty classy of Normark to post this. I think this is what it's all about. By the way, I haven't handled anything by either of these guys but I am very impressed with the pics and reviews I've seen here. Keep up the good work.

Hey Guys....

Sorry this is soo late!!
Orderd my new Puter,,should have it any day now..:)

Mike,, no problem dude..
You make some fine rigs..

However that blade you carry is pretty big.. I don't think I can find room in my pants for Anything Else that big..:) LOL

Looking forward to Blade..Man I can only Imagine,, to be in a place that big with soooo many toys...

Be like a kid at Toys R' US Toys as far as the eye can see and shelves up to the ceiling!! Dang!! Gotta get that charge card cleared up now..LOL...

See ya There!! :)

Poboy...

I give credit where credit is due..

Although Mike and I compete for some of the same customers,, Mike works in his own circle of clients,, has his own way of doing things (However Strange they are ) :) and makes some Quality products..
No reason two people working in the same business can't be friends,,thats for sure.....

I like Mike,,and I don't care what Anyone says about him..:)

Ask him about the sticker I found recently on one of his sheaths..:)

Talk to you soon Guys..

Eric....

Eric,

I know you're sitting there waiting for me to respond to the "sticker" question so you can show the "true" origins of my products. Here's your opening, Bro', go to it. No worry on how much or how little room is in you pants, the Southern Comfort still lets you pack the big rigs comfortably AND concealed. Atlanta will be fun!!!

Eric,
Come on now, time to tell! Inquiring minds want to know!

Mike,
You coming down early for Blade? Or maybe staying over a day? If you want to get a blade wet...paddle blade that is, give me a holler. I'm hearing El Nino is coming back around so maybe we'll have some water in the SE rivers and creeks.

Clyde,

Whatever works out better with your schedule. I'm adaptable, so before and/or after is just fine. Need to get wet!!!! Maybe we can trick Eric into going.
