Just let me start by saying this is a subjective review - I have utmost respect for proper comparison tests with multiple people taking part, but I just don't have the time, money, or knife addict friends who live close enough

I've found a pic of a similar knife - my knife has a blade only aesthetically different to the one in the following picture, a much more square butt, and two mosaic pins rather than one. Here's the specs and a link to the pic.

Steve Filicietti custom utility pic

Specs:

Forged 52100, Triple quenched, tapered tang
Blue G-10 handle with red/white spacers
OAL 9 1/4
Blade 4 1/2
Thickness 3/16

Fit and finish are outstanding, the only thing i can possibly mention is that the mosaic pins don't line up exactly. But hey, for the price, I’m EXTREMELY happy - If I’d payed twice what I did, I’d be complaining.

The knife is razor sharp, and shows absolutely no signs of changing. I've used it fairly extensively in general circumstances - Sorry I can't be more specific - It's also handled fair bit of food preparation, at which it excelled, despite the thickness which i had feared may detract from the slicing ability. As it turned out, I needn’t have worried - It out sliced even the sharpest of our kitchen knives.

For such a small knife it chops well, almost equalling my cold steel SRK, which has an extra 1.5 of blade length. I haven't chopped extensively, just dropping and limbing a few small saplings roughly 2" thick.

I know some people think prying is abusive, and in fact I agree - I just think that it has the potential to become a necessity, so I always include it as a part of the testing of any (appropriate) new knife I receive. The utility handled light to medium prying with ease. Stabbing hard into wood and snapping sideways produced no damage that i could see.

The knife is available with either a kydex sheath, or a stitched leather pouch style sheath - I chose the leather, personal preference, although i will get a horizontal kydex rig made up sooner or later. When I can part with the knife for long enough

The knife is very pleasing ergonomically - It's extremely comfortable to hold in any grip I can think of, for extended periods of hard use. It is also (to me) very aesthetically pleasing. I tend to see beauty in function, and this is where the Filicietti excels.

I have not yet given the knife an all out torture test - Although in about a month I have a week long hike - The Filicietti will be my primary knife, with a small folder as backup. I'll let someone else carry that damn heavy hatchet.

This is also being posted in the custom forum.
