Reviewer finds hollow stop pin in new Kizer Uprising

"It goes without saying, a solid stop pin is stronger than a hollow one. The stop pin is subject to considerable impact force when the blade opens. I have heard of at least one knife manufacturer that started out using hollow stop pins and switched over to solid when they had incidents of failure."
 
Yep imagine bearing down hard on a cut only to see your stop pin deform, hope they will change this, I should add that I do enjoy Nick's reviews
 
Does anyone know if this has been addressed by Kizer?

I'm not sure there's anything to address. The tube looks like it has pretty thick walls. I imagine it could withstand the force of the blade without any issue whatsoever.
