Reviews/comments on CRKT Mini My Tighe

I really like the looks, size, and blade to handle ratio of the Mini My Tighe. I'm not too sure about the steel. I searched and most say it's equivalent to 440A and AUS-6, but a knife nut friend of mine says it like how 13C26 doesn't look quite good on paper, but performs quite well. Anyone have experiences with this, or the normal size My Tighe? How's the ergos, edge retention, blade performance for your every day tasks, reliability, etc.?

Wondering if it's worth the almost $50. There's another folder I like that's a bit longer handle, shorter blade, but comes with 440C and G10 scales in a liner lock for about $20. I like the size and blade ratio of the Mini My Tighe more, but not sure it's worth 2.5x of the other one.

Boker Armed Forces II. Yeah there's controversy over the handle shape, but it's a nice folder none-the-less. The blade shape...well, it's a tanto, and most tantos look the same, so I'm not too sticky over who's tanto looks like who's.
 
Personally, I love the looks and feel of the full sized My Tighe, but I haven't had an opportunity to handle the Mini yet. I prefer a larger knife to a smaller. 13C26 has been around for a while in a variety of knives, it's performance is pretty well known. If you get a chance, handle it before you buy - resharpening a knife is easier than using an uncomfortable one, right?
 
Yeah, I'm more familiar with 13C26 as I've had some Kershaws with that steel than I am with 1.4116. I'd like to hear real user experiences with 1.4116.

I haven't handled the Boker, but I've handled Buck Striders with an almost identical handle and liked it. I briefly handled the full size My Tighe and found it comfortable also.

Any other comments or reviews on the Mini or even normal size My Tighe would be appreciated.

I have a full size. It was crazy sharp out of the box. Havn't had it long enough to need resharpening yet. I broke the tip off the plastic scale, next to the pocket clip. Kinda annoying but just cosmetic.

If you email CRKT, they might send you a new scale.... I know it would annoy me.
