Revised Boker Plus CLB Karambit??

There is supposedly a second edition of the Boker in the works that might include an updated ring biner and pocket clip but we will have to wait and see how that develops.

Hi everyone, the quoted message was posted on this forum on the 28th of February 2009. A similar rumor containing message was posted on Knife Forums at the end of August this year:

"One more thing, there may be a second revised edition that comes with a pocket clip."

Anyone knows if there has been any further development regarding this issue? I am currently looking for a karambit after beginning to EDC alternatively two Boker Plus CLB designs (Subcom and Hyper) - of which I am very content and proud - and the only thing that kept me back from buying one from the same line was the lack of a pocket clip... Everyone, everywhere seems to be missing this feature a lot!

It is coming out, I have seen a few, but I do not have a delivery date that is firm enough to post yet.
It should not be too long, though.

Now that you bothered to answer my first question, let me ask you another one: :D
Is the new, revised model looking exactly like the current one, having only a pocket clip added and, maybe, a modified carabiner, or are we speaking here a revamped design of the knife also?

Here is the picture that was posted from a forum member on another site that is from Manchester, England. Apparently the new updated version is available overseas already. We are thankful for his photo that reveals the new version with pocket clip.

I still hate the idea of the traditional karambit, but Chad's spin on it won me over back before I found out it was clip-less. I believe I joked 'I'll take two, have it delivered in a plain paper bag' or something when I first saw pictures, count me in on the first run on this updated version.

Hey, Bimmer1, thanks for the pic! It is really nice and clears things up a whole lot. Well, actually I am from "overseas" (Spain), but it surely didn't show up here yet! I guess I'll have to keep a close eye on the 'Bay! Thanks everyone for helping out, great community here! :)

Whoa, I just noticed it on the pic - the new pocket clip can be positioned for tip-up and tip-down carry, left AND right. I don't remember any other previous model of the Boker Plus CLB-line with the possibility of mounting the clip on the G10-side on a dual-sided handle (plastic/metal). I think it's a nice first-time, congrats to Daywalker and Boker for this job, keep it up! ;)

After Doc Snubnose's review, I need one of these...NOW, honestly, but I'd settle for within a week. Are there any dealers with confirmed new versions advertised? I'm googling it left and right, but I'd hate to have it shipped out to find it's the old version.

Ordered one off a site with a promised shipping date the next week...three weeks later, they keep pushing it back. Currently said to ship the 9th, I'd give it a couple more weeks after that.

I recieved my Karambit yesterday. WOW What a knife!!! Very impressed with the build quality and fit.
If there is a better value 'Bang for Buck' knife on the market, please tell me. I think this beauty will be hard to beat.

Did you get the new version with pocket clip and such?
Thanks

Yes, it has the four position clip. The shop I order online from had one left in stock.

Four position sturdy clip (can be mounted on the G10 side as well) looks very good.
Pictured next to a Tenacious for scale.

Thanks Gunner
Can I ask where you ordered from, was it USA? I have not heard of them here yet. Is the grip comfy with the clip? Sure looks sweet!
Thanks

Bought from Heinnie Haynes in the UK.
I actually didnt realise there had been an update untill after Id ordered it (They still picture the clipless model on their website)

As for grip. Im right handed and either forefinger or pinky through the hole, the clip in the position shown above fills the grip nicely (If that makes sense)
Id imagine the grip would feel thin to me if I removed the clip now.

It feels secure when in the pocket. And the large groove in the clip itself aids a very posative grip when pulling out.
The thumb stud seems just the right size for me, though from the box it was a little stiff to open.
Ive never seen such a hefty liner lock as this one. It makes the Tenacious lock feel a little flimsy in comparison.

Overall a very nice knife. Im very pleased with it.

The guys I ordered from kept pushing the date back as expected, but it just jumped from 'unknown' to '12/20' for the shipping date. May have this beauty sooner than expected.
