Watched a program on History Channel about logging and Paul Bunyon. They showed a drawing from a book showing a river bed being made by Bunyon dragging his axe along the ground !! No logger would ever drag ,through dirt and rock, such an important cutting tool as an axe !!! Originally it was a peavey that was dragged !
