I made a thread about this in June, but I wanted to revisit this knife. It is a great double bladed affair with one blade being plain edged and hollow ground drop point and the other being half serrated hollow ground sheepfoot. The handle is zytel or something similar. It is a light weight and practical knife, strong too. It is right hand only because even though the liner locks can be worked with the left hand, the opening holes in the blades cannot be accessed by the left thumb. Still, it is a very nice, and very sharp knife that has given me good service for close to 20 years, or so. Here is the original thread: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1407051-Buck-Ecco
Here is an old thread in which CJ Buck, and other Buck employees talk about the knife: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/170721-Question-about-the-Buck-Ecco
Mine was made in Japan and is so stamped on the main blade. I do not remember the steel. It may be AUS8, I'm guessing.
Here is someone else's photo.
I think it is time for another knife like this, or a resurrection of this one.
