My son looked at one today at another location and really liked it. I think it will be a very popular knife once people see it and use it. It is slightly shorter than the original Revolver and lighter.
It comes with a friction leather sheath. The main difference in this new model and the original Revolver knives is this one has a built in sharpener in the handle and the gut hook is on the saw blade.......which in my opinion should make gutting a little smoother and easier.
Of course the color is black and orange and the handles are a rubber type coating. I really like the looks of this knife and think it will be well accepted in the hunting, camping and backpacking world.
How could you go wrong with a knife that has a great cutting blade and a mean survival saw hidden in the handle.
The bottom line is this....the original Revolver has been on the market for 10 years, and it has more than proven it's self as an incredible useful tool.
This new improved model should be no different in that area, except I think it will be handier because it is about 2 1/2 inches shorter and some few ounces lighter.
